Sebastian Johnson

Seb is a Senior Therapist at Elite Therapy, joining the clinic in 2016 having gained a BSc(Hons) degree in Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation from The University of Worcester. Before joining Elite, Seb worked as a lecturer at North Warwickshire and Hinckley College, where he supported students in Sport and Exercise Science. Throughout his career, Seb has provided pitch-side aid for several sports teams, including Hinckley RFC’s 1st Team, The University of Nottingham’s men’s rugby 1st XV. He has also worked with Team GB, Coventry Blaze Ice Hockey Teams, and supported Team USA Weightlifting. preparing them for The World Championships in 2018 in Turkmenistan.

Seb has also gained an International Diploma in both Medical Acupuncture & Myofascial Cupping, and he is fully qualified and insured in the practice of Spinal & Peripheral manipulation, along with providing Sports Massage. Seb’s expertise in these areas makes him a valuable asset to the Elite team, providing high-quality care to clients.

Apart from his professional qualifications, Seb has a keen interest in nutrition and fitness and enjoys rugby union, having played at county level himself. This gives him an added understanding of the needs and challenges faced by athletes.
